A successful track record in hosting internships has resulted in Global Voices gaining a reputation for adding real value to students who wish to gain behind the scenes experience of how a fast growing organisation operates.
Students applying through the Erasmus (or equivalent) programme will have the opportunity to embark on our tailor made programme within one of the departments that best matches their course criteria.
Our “learn by shadowing” approach is proven to work and gives interns a taste for the skills needed to succeed. A designated mentor will ensure you progress at each stage of the internship.

We have limited availability at our Head Office within the following departments:
Our Operations department is where we make it all happen! Project Managers, Linguists, Analysts and Interpretation Specialists work together in synergy to manage projects and source the perfect translators and interpreters to match each client’s requirements. It’s in this department that those with meticulous planning, a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask find themselves excelling.
Preference will be given to students studying towards a Language or Translation related discipline.
General information: the internship has to last 3 months minimum and it is not remunerated
Contacting linguists for translation projects, allocating traslation projects, assisting the project manager in coordinating both large and small projects, formatting, reviewing and proofreading, and working with various software that aid project management. These tasks are dependent on individual capabilities, experience and attitude at work
- High level of communication skills and good phone manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- The ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
- Preferred placement time: 3 months.
Degree required: languages, translation, interpretation
English level: B2
The above internships are unpaid. They are open to students on work experience as part of a higher education course and individuals on funded European Union Programmes (e.g. Erasmus + or Comenius).
