We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pressing Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain pressing machines used in the manufacturing process. You will ensure that production targets are met, the quality of the output is consistent, and all safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate pressing machines to produce parts, components, or products according to specifications.
- Monitor the machine performance and adjust settings to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on pressing machines to minimize downtime.
- Load and unload materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and placement.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet safety and operational standards.
- Document production numbers, quality control checks, and maintenance logs.
- Follow all safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Assist with machine calibration and testing to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other production staff to meet daily production goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some technical training or certifications a plus).
- Previous experience operating pressing or manufacturing machinery is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to [X] pounds and stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic pressing machines.
- Certification in machine operation or related field (e.g., CNC, production machinery).
- Familiarity with computer-controlled machinery and automated systems.
