We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our client’s team and contribute to the rebuilding of a modern data pipeline and storage engine for the digital media industry. This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our Plovdiv office if preferred. You will work on long-term projects, focusing on developing innovative solutions and ensuring the system’s performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
➢ Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django, contributing to the rebuild of a data pipeline and storage engine based on specifications from the existing platform;
➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and deliver efficient technical solutions that incorporate new features and optimizations;
➢ Ensure the scalability and reliability of the system while integrating new technologies and modern frameworks;
➢ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to maintain optimal system performance and data integrity;
➢ Participate in code reviews, ensuring that high-quality coding standards are followed;
➢ Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to align the technical development with project goals and timelines.
Requirements:
➢ 2+ years of experience in Python development, including Django framework;
➢ Solid understanding of data pipelines, storage engines, and modern frameworks;
➢ Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher, with excellent communication and soft skills;
➢ Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently in a remote setting;
➢ Experience working in long-term outsourced projects.
Nice to Have:
➢ Experience with digital media platforms or similar industries;
➢ Familiarity with modern data management and cloud-based solutions.
