Cinema City Bulgaria
Cinema City Bulgaria manages 7 multiplexes in 6 different cities - Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Burgas and Varna.
The first multiplex with 13 halls was built in Sofia in 2006. This was only the beginning of a very extensive development of the chain of cinemas in the country. The second multiplex with 11 halls in Mall Plovdiv opened in March 2009. A multiplex with 7 halls was opened in Stara Zagora in November 2010. In the same year, in December, opened the modern facility in Rоusse.Cinema City Galleria Burgas opened doors in 2012. It is equipped with the latest generation movie technologies, 10 modern halls, 5 of which are 3D.
Cinema City Paradise was open in 2013 - 14 halls, one of which was the first 4DX hall in Bulgaria - the absolute cinema experience, exclusively offered only by Cinema City. Another 4DX hall was open in Cinema City Plovdiv in 2016.
March 2019 we opened our newest and most modern cinema: Cinema City Varna. The multiplex consists of 12 halls, including Dolby Atmos hall, and the first 4DX on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Ready to get things moving behind the scenes? Join our Facilities team and help keep our Cinema City locations running smoothly. You’ll work with cinemas, suppliers and the Head of Facilities while gaining hands-on experience in maintenance, projects and day-to-day Facilities operations.
What will you do?
- Help coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across Cinema City locations.
- Follow up on work orders from request to resolution and keep our facilities Management system up to date.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to make sure jobs are completed on time and issues are resolved.
- Connect with cinemas, suppliers and the Head of Facilities to keep things moving.
- Keep Facilities documentation accurate, organized and up to date.
- Get involved in day-to-day Facilities projects and activities and learn how a multi-site operation works.
What do we need?
- internship experience in Facilities, maintenance, property or a similar operational role is a plus.
- Technical studies in Engineering, Facilities or Property Management are a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Good English and fluency in the local language.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate and oriented for technology is a plus
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
